90!

Jaleen hit 90 today.  That’s one.  Leety is only 2 levels away.  Next closest after that is my 40 bruiser, I think.  Maybe I should work on a 90 TS class now? (2 are at 60, the carpenter and the sage)

Freeport’s City Festival!

Leet just completed the Freeport City Festival collection quest.  That’s 3 mailboxes for my 4 room house.

The Festival tents are near the Crossroads, on the way to the Griffon Tower (try -560, -48, -432 for the local specialties vendor)

In other news, Leetas, Jaleen, Fathed, Evilkin, Areonne, Azabael, Nipee….and maybe a few other alts…have all moved to AB. Living the dream with our new guild, Voodoo. It’s pretty much everything we have been looking for in a guild (and even tried to create, on our own). Some crit-head level 2 ranger had the name Leetas, so I had to add a name change in with the transfer- He is now known as “Leety Mcleeterson”.

Things are starting back up

I have been quiet. Nothing has been going on. Fathed and I were still the only two active members of our guild, and due to things going on outside of the game (like my parents coming to visit and what not) we have not been able to meet up much. Got some BGs done, for what that’s worth. Things were generally pretty low, activity wise.

Last week we started alts on the more populated Antonia Bayle server.Instantly we liked the environment. A few days later, after I got home from work I got a message that Fathed and Evilkin now reside on AB. A day later some of the people that left the guild in November came back tothe game, and we started to talk to them again. They have both moved their main toons over to AB. That meant that I pretty much had to move something over if I were to continue to play with them.

Jaleen is now a member of AB. I don’t think it will be long before Leetas makes his way over there, as well. I feel a little bad about leaving my home server of over 5 years, but it’s just gotten to be dead. It might be my hours, but I can not change that. What I can change is finding a place that works with my hours, and AB seems to be just that.

So hello AB. You just got 4 Mistmoore refugees.

Battlegrounds – Smuggler’s Den

So, I spent a night last week doing “Smuggler’s Den” on Leetas, with Fathed. We had some good rounds and some not so good rounds. I plan on sticking with one BG zone until I am good at it.  Smuggler’s Den was the first to pop up when I queued up, so that’s what I am going with.

The biggest problem I have noticed so far is leadership. Either no one takes charge and you have 20 people running off on 20 different missions (and a few afk) or you get someone that thinks he is God’s gift to EQ2 tactics.

Everyone keeps saying “Center Tower” is a must, it gets points twice as fast…blah blah blah. I have been on winning teams that never claimed the center. a slow trickle of players to keep the other side on the defensive, with three groups getting the 4 outer towers works wonders. If the center is worth double points, that’s still less than 4 towers at single value.

I would like to see a group work together, and I mean really work together. I picture in my head 2 groups of people running circles getting towers, always about halfway around from the other group. get maybe a third group to go where they are needed and the fourth can be distraction at the center.

Maybe it’s my turn to play God’s gift to EQ2 tactics?

Hopefully Things are Being Fixed

Well, I am not trying to complain here, but I will say that I don’t have much news to post because my play time this week has been after work (6amish EST).  I know that leaves a few hours still, but I am just not getting motivated to get started on something only to have to stop part way into it when the servers go down.

Hopefully with the next two days off I can find something a little more interesting to do.
